Frank Wayne Tanner

Frank Wayne Tanner, 74, of Keysville, VA, passed away on his birthday, November 17, 2013, from a short battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy Ward Tanner; two daughters, Terri D. Tanner of the home, Kandy K. Tanner and friend, Hardy of Franklinton, NC; one nephew, Mark “Boo” Dix of Keysville; and also many cousins and his beloved dog, Benji.
Everyone knew him as an excellent baseball and football player. He was also an avid fisherman, hunter, and loved his dogs.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m., on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at the Ontario Christian Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery, Keysville. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Charlotte County Rescue Squad or the Ontario Christian Church Cemetery Fund. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
