Freddie Rogers Gormus

Freddie R. Gormus “Fox”, age 73, of Charlotte Court House, Va, formerly of Buckingham, Va, passed away, Tuesday, June 25, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Langford Gormus; his children, Terry Gormus, Dwayne Gormus, Cindy Skeen Gordon, Timmy Gormus Vicky, and Melissa Robertson; grandchildren, Cameron Skeen, Chris Gormus, Jacob Andrews, and Holly Andrews; brothers, Ralph Gormus and Trigger Gormus; sisters, Linda Edwards David, Macy Eidenire, and his former wife, Barbara Gormus.
He was preceased by his parents, Herman and Georgia Gormus; a brother, Herman Gormus; and an infant son, Douglas.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2013, in Oak View Presbyterian Church Cemetery Cullen, VA. The family will receive friends at Mt. Tirzah Baptist Church in Charlotte Court House on Friday, June 28, 2013, from 7 to 8:30p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Charlotte Court house Dixie Youth, P O Box 456, Charlotte C. H., VA 23923. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
