Garfield Linwood Medley

MEDLEY, Garfield Linwood Shorty, 75, of Keysville, VA, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 25th, 2016. He is preceded in death by his wife Barbara Medley and survived by his daughter, Tammy Foster Bruce; son, Tommy Medley Rita; brothers, Frank Betty and John Medley; sister, Pat Graham; six grandchildren, Sarah Landon, Tommy TJ, Taylor, Tyler, Kimberly, and Mallory; many beloved nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends. Garfield had a very special furbaby, his dog Blondie, whom he loved very much. Our dear loved one was not only a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend; As a retired veteran of the US Army, he was a hero to all of us, and always will be.
A viewing will be held from 12-3pm, Wednesday, June 29th, 2016 and will be followed by the funeral service at 3pm. His remains will be laid to rest at the Dale Memorial Park in Chesterfield, VA. There will not be a graveside service. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA. is in charge of the arrangements.
