Gerald C. Dickerson

Dickerson, Gerald C, age 83, of Concord, N.C. passed away peacefully August 4, 2020 in Concord, North Carolina. Born in Wylliesburg, Va. to the late Nick and Irene (Tootsie ) Dickerson. Gerald attended Charlotte County public schools graduating from Randolph Henry High School class of 56. Starting his career as a salesman out of high school selling auto parts, he went on to have a long career as a salesman owning several businesses. Gerald was also a huge NASCAR and Atlanta Braves fan.

Gerald is survived by his wife of 63 years Rachel B. Dickerson; a son, Jeri Dickerson and his wife Cara; a daughter, Becky Fleetwood and husband Dexter all of Concord N.C; five grandchildren Haley, Zach, Kayla, husband Jeff, Lauren, and Derek, wife Allyssa; one great grandson, Luke; a sister, Jean Wallace and husband Wayne; two sisters-in-law, Lucille Purcell and Doris McNeny; as well as numerous loved nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m.,  Saturday August 8, 2020 at Antioch Baptist Church in Wylliesburg, Va.
