Gracie Byrd Parsons Mohr

Gracie Byrd Parsons Mohr, age 87, of Lynchburg, VA, formerly of Cullen, VA, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Philip Mohr; her parents, David Byrd and Mary Edna Hamlett Parsons; a sister, Ruby Mae Atkins; and a brother, Fred Marshall Parsons.
Gracie is survived by one brother, Courtney M. Parsons and his wife, Lena of Lynchburg, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2016, in Oak View Presbyterian Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Centra Hospice or the Lynchburg Humane Society. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
