Harold “Butch” Berkley Legrand Sr.

Harold “Butch” LeGrand, Sr., age 71, of Farmville, VA, formerly of Meherrin, VA, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Pearlie F. LeGrand; two sons, Harold LeGrand, Jr., Debra, and James LeGrand Judy; two step-daughters, Judy Ownby Tom, and Debbie Garrett Johnny, one step-son, Kenneth Giles, Jr., Rhonda; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Burton Smith Connie, and Dale LeGrand. “Butch” was preceded in death by his father, Harold LeGrand, his mother, Eva Mottley Smith, a sister, Nancy Beunger, and his first wife, Geraldine Hill LeGrand.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 3, 2013, in Meherrin United Methodist Church Cemetery, Meherrin, VA. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is serving the family.
