Hedy Jo Jones

Hedy Jo Jones, age 85, of Phenix, VA passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Ed Liddle and Sarah Liddle. Hedy Jo is survived by three sons, Robert Wayne “Bob” and Becky, John Michael and Marilyn, James David “Jimmy” and Debbie; five grandchildren, Christy and Jon Bayne, Amy and Michael Morris, Michelle and Greg Owens, Benjamin and Teresa Jones, David Steven Jones; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Ann Jennings of Galax, VA; a brother-in-law, Bill Edwards of Galax, VA; a sister-in-law, Betty Lee Jones of Charlotte Court House, VA and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wayne Jones; five brothers and three sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012 in the Phenix Methodist Church, with interment to follow in the Cullen Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home.

The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of the arrangements.
