James Ernest Eggleston Sr.

James Ernest Eggleston, Sr., age 76, of Keysville, VA, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Dixon Eggleston; two children, James E. “Jimmy” Eggleston, Jr., (Charlena), Sharon Moore (Michael); six grandchildren, Serena Eggleston, Amber Jarrett (Chris), J. R. Eggleston (Charlotte), Beth Moore (Andrew Hamm), Douglas Moore, Savanna Moore; and four great-grandchildren, Stephen Jarrett, Tristan Jarrett, Ernest Eggleston, and Paityn Hamm.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Mount. Harmony United Methodist Church, Keysville, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, on Friday, November 22, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mount Harmony United Methodist Church, c/o Cindy Mason, 4382 Crab Orchard Road, Keysville, VA 23947. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
