James Ray Jones

James Ray Jones, age 80, of Red Oak, VA, passed away on Thursday, August 18. 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Elsie R. Jones; a brother, Ryland A. Jones, and a sister-in-law, Margaret B. Jones. He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Brenda V. Jones; brother-in-law, Wayne Vaughan and wife, Linda; one niece, Gwendolyn Rogers and husband, Steve; five nephews, Aubrey Jones, Taylor Vaughan, Waylin Vaughan and wife, Sarah, Jay Ramsey and wife, Lisa; Jason Ramsey and wife, Dana; a great-niece, Ruby Ramsey: and three great-nephews, Gregory Rogers, Tyler Ramsey, and Wyatt Vaughan.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2016 in the Hebron U.M.C. with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home at all times. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of the arrangements.
