Jamie Deon'ate Mosley

Jamie Deon'ate Mosley, aged 33 of Red Oak, Virginia, entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 19, 2026. Jamie was born in Halifax, Virginia, on December 17, 1992, Jamie was a graduate of Randolph Henry High School. Jamie held careers in culinary arts and construction, he enjoyed dancing, rapping, and fast cars.

Jamie was predeceased by his son, Jeffery Scott “Buccit” and maternal grandfather, Sam Mosley, Jamie leaves to cherish his memory; his father, Nathaniel Boyd III (Shelley); his mother, Adrienne Mosley (Willie); his wife, Felicia Mosley, and his three children. Jamie was a proud, devoted father, to Jamie Jr, Chandler, and Nevaeh, who were the center of his world. His love for his children was constant and unwavering and the memories they shared will remain a lasting source of comfort and strength. Jamie is also survived by his twelve siblings, Eric, Jerod, Robert (Nisasha), Nathaniel, Crystal, Tanesha, Kemisha (Savon), Christine (Raymaun), Ma’Tia, Cordaro, Courtney (Floyd), and Christopher; his paternal grandparents, Nathaniel Boyd, Jr. (Louise) and Nancy Walker, his maternal grandmother, Mary Mosley; and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, family members and friends. Jamie had seven devoted cousins, Adam Boyd, Kevin McCargo, Richard Oliver, Devon Parrish, Antonio Roberts, Nathaniel Roberts, Paul Wilson; two devoted friends, Samuel Deal and Christopher Foster.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home, Keysville, VA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will follow in the Boyd Family Cemetery, Chase City, VA. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
