Janet Marilyn Porter, 79, of Drakes Branch, VA, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth J. Porter; five children; her step daughter; numerous grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother.
Janet was a retired Registered Nurse of 47 years. Her hobbies included gardening and quilting. Janet was a member at Grace Community Church.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023; at 11 a.m. at the Grace Community Church, Charlotte County, VA. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home is serving the family.
