Jimmie Mack St. John

Jimmie Mack St. John age 88, of Charlotte Court House, VA passed away on Monday March 30, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. Mack was born on April 3, 1937, to the late Martin Terry and Eva Lloyd St. John. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Rayford St. John and Carroll St. John; three sisters, Verna Waller, Lorena Parsons, and Earl Waller.

Mack was an active member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. He was the co-owner of Country Club Service Center in Keysville until his retirement. Mack loved spending time in his garden at home and took pride in his work.

Mack is survived by his wife, Mary Hammock St. John; two sons, Jimmie L. St. John, James O. St. John and his wife, Susan; two daughters, Vicki A. Hudson and her husband, Jimmy Carroll Hudson, and Tammie St. John; seven grandchildren, Barry Napier, Jacob Hudson, Carroll G. Watts, Derrick Watts, Jimmie L. St. John, Danielle Spillman, and Paul Trent; thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill St. John; sister-in-law, Cora June St. John; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Reverend Tony Reeves will be officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
