Johnnie James Jones Jr.

Mr. Johnnie James Jones, Jr., 59, of Saxe, passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 29, 2014. He was born February 4, 1955, in Bowmanville Ontario, Canada, to Nannie Lou Jones of Red Oak, and the late James Jones. Johnnie is survived by his wife of 38 years, Debbie Scruggs Jones; one son, Johnnie James Jones III Shawn of Red Oak; two daughters, Karen Bridget Jones Bach Brandon of Roanoke; and Stacy Jones Lacks Chris of Red Oak; three grandchildren, Jacob Upton, Morgan and Catherine Bach; four brothers, Robert Jones, Jessie Jones Marilyn, Neal Jones, Herbert Jones Barbara all of Red Oak; one sister, Ruth Jones Melton Bobby of Red Oak. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rita Lynn Jones Holder. A celebration of life was held at his home on August 31, 2014. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to the Wylliesburg Rescue Squad. The Browning-Duffer Funeral home in Keysville, VA, is serving the family.
