Joseph “Joe” Louis Nelson

Joseph “Joe” Louis Nelson, age 65, of Keysville, VA, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Angela Lyles Nelson; his parents, Louis H. and Emily W. Nelson; and a brother, Darrel Nelson.

Joe is survived by two daughters, Stephanie N. Ingram (Aaron), and Mikaela D. Wade (Patrick); three grandchildren, Aubrey Ingram, Bryce Ingram, and Declan Ingram; two sisters, Emily “Darlene” N. Dunn (Donnie), and Amanda N. Rodriguez (Enrique).

The family would like to say a special thank you to his lifelong friend, Ray Tharpe and to the Hospice of Virginia for their loving care, kindness and concern shown to their loved one.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at 3 p.m., at Mt. Harmony United Methodist Church in Keysville, Virginia with Reverend Jesse Young officiating.  Family & Friends viewing will be held Saturday August 27, 2022,  from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home.  The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, Virginia is respectfully serving the Nelson family.
