Judith Charlene Robinette Robins

Judith Charlene Robinette Robins of Keysville, VA passed away peacefully May 19, 2025. She was born December 3, 1941 in Keysville to the late Sam & Eva Flynn Robinette.

Charlene is survived by her brother, Charles & Judy Robinette and family. She is also survived by her daughter, Paula Robins; and son, Kevin Robins & Wendy Patterson.

Charlene was a proud Nanny to Alexis and Gavin Robins, Thomas & Italia Mason, Drew Mason, Matthew & Colby Vassar, Cameron & Addy Vassar, Meredith Feinman Dawson  & Ryan Dawson and Cole Feinman. She was a proud Great Nanny to Everlee Vassar.

Charlene also had the neighborhood kids, whom she enjoyed watching play in the same places she did as a child. The group includes Conner, Sean and Luca along with more in the summer who enjoyed popsicles and cold water from their own porch fridge.

Charlene graduated from MCV in 1962 as an X-ray Technician and enjoyed a long career at Johnson Willis Hospital, Southside Community Hospital and Southern Dominion Health System/Lunenburg Medical Center.

Family night will be at Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 6:00-7:30 p. m. Graveside service will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., in Ash Camp Memorial Cemetery, Keysville, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ash Camp Baptist Church or Charlotte County Meals on Wheels (PO Box 486, Keysville, VA 23947). The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
