Julia English Ramsey

Julia English Ramsey, age 81, of Charlotte Court House, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2012.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Durwood W. Ramsey; two sons, Kyle Ramsey and his wife, Dot, Stanford Ramsey and his wife, Lila; two grandchildren, Derek and Heather Ramsey; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Anita DeJarnette of Gladys, Virginia, and Mary Garnette of Drakes Branch, Virginia; and two close friends and caregivers, Doug and Joann Maxwell.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 7, 2012, in Mt. Tirzah Baptist Church in Charlotte Court House, with interment to follow in Falling River Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville on Thursday, December 6, 2012, from 7 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
