June Lindsey Bailey

Our dear mother, June Lindsey Bailey, age 83, of Farmville, VA, sadly passed away on January 2, 2024, and gained her wings.  Her departure reminds us that angels are watching over us.  She was a wonderful mother, who was always there when we needed her.

June was preceded in death by her parents, E. H. “Ham” and Gracie Wallace Lindsey; her husband, Walter L. Bailey Sr.  She is survived by two sons, W. L. Bailey Jr., and Tim Bailey and his wife, Sadie; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many cousins and friends that she loved dearly, especially her special lifetime friend, Elsie Martin.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2024, in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Farmville, VA.  The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
