Linda Crews Martin, 80, passed away July 19, 2025 at South Boston Health and Rehab. She was born March 11, 1945 in Brookneal, VA to Lewis and Florence Crews.
Linda graduated from Randolph Henry High School in 1963. She worked as a C.N.A. for many years. Linda enjoyed planting flowers, shopping, cooking, reading and going to the beauty salon every week. She most enjoyed spending time with her family. Linda was a member of Ash Camp Baptist Church.
Linda is survived by her three children, Tracey Newcomb (Melvin), Shanlee Tucker (Ervin), and Christopher Ayers (Abby); grandchildren, Candace Leonard (John), Marcus Tucker (Destinee), Cameron Tucker, and Mariah Tucker; great-grandchildren Malia Tucker, Malaini Tucker, and Locke Leonard; her niece, Jeannie Ball (Donnie); nephews Danny Flynn, Shane Flynn; and numerous great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Sadie Tuck (Bill) and Mary Flynn (Edward); niece by marriage Sandy Flynn.
A special thank you to the staff at Care Advantage and especially her two devoted care givers, Kim Wyatt and Vicki Sharpe. Thank you, as well, to the Charlotte County Rescue Squad for their dedicated services.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Browning Duffer Funeral Home, Keysville, VA from 6:00-7:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Ash Camp Baptist Church, 8687 Church St., Keysville, VA. at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Ash Camp Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Charlotte County Rescue Squad, P O Box 330, Keysville, VA 23947. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
