Lois Dawson Tharpe

Lois Dawson Tharpe, age 84, of Rustburg, VA, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2921. She was preceded in death by he husband, Tucker Watkins Tharpe.  Lois is survived by three children, Nelson Tharpe (Ashley), Norman Tharpe, and Tammy Henderson (Les); nine  grandchildren, Anna Thomas, Emily Tharpe, James Tharpe, Sara Tharpe, Rachel Tardy, Calvin Tharpe, Tucker Tharpe, Gina Hamilton, and Christina Falaballa; and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, February 4, 2021, at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery, Randolph, VA. Due to COVID-19 restrictions mask and social distancing is required. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
