Lula Belle Berkley

Lula Belle Berkley, age 73, of Keysville, VA, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013. She is survived by four children, Shirley Coleman and husband Walton, Sharon Lafoon and husband Joe, Roy “Red” Berkley and wife Anita, Michael Hayes; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters, Elizabeth Lyles, Janice Seagle, Josephine Whirley; and special friends, Angelina and Sue. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy A. Berkley, a granddaughter, Lindsey Claytor, and her brother, Clayton Leatherwood.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, November 24, 2013, in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Drakes Branch, VA. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, on Saturday, November 23, 2013, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
