Mabel Gee Hanks

Mabel Gee Hanks, age 96, of Keysville, VA, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014. She was the widow of Ervin Hanks She is survived by a daughter, Frances Anderson; three sons, Ray Hanks June, Leonard Hanks Wanda, and Roger Hanks; five grandchildren, Keith Anderson, Sharon Fox, Eric Hanks, Adam Hanks, and Tricia Stocks; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruby Metts, Elinor Anderson, and Grace Barton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mabel was a lifelong member of Union Grove Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, November 2, 2014, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, with interment to follow in the Cool Springs Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Union Grove Baptist Church,
