Mary Catharine Wilkins, 96, of Meherrin VA died on Thursday, July 3, 2025. She was born in Lancaster, PA on September 26, 1928, to John and Catharine Adams. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Guy Wilkins; and daughter Catharine L. Tatem.
Mary leaves behind a loving family, son-in-law, John Tatem; two grandchildren, Cheryl and Michael; two great-grandchildren, Courtney and Austin. She has one sister, Nancy Homan who resides in Greensboro, NC.
Mary loved gardening and riding on her riding lawn mower she nicknamed, “Orange Blosom”. She will be greatly missed by all but never forgotten.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on July 12, 2025 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Meherrin VA. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is serving the family.
