Mickey Lee Hilbourn

Mickey Lee Hilbourn, age 53, of Meherrin, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 4, 2010. He was born in Marion, South Carolina. Mickey was the son of Judy and John Pyle of Meherrin, VA. He was a retired mechanic from Charleston, SC. Mickey is survived by a son, Michael Lee Hilbourn; a long-term friend, Cheryl Schumake of Charleston, SC; two granddaughters, McKayla and Mariah; his mother, Judy H. Pyle; a brother, Frankie Jackson and his wife, Kelly of Port Charlotte, Florida; two sisters, Jackie Moore and her husband, Jimmy of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Vickie Stoffer and her husband, Jimmy of Sheridan, Arkansas; one niece; four nephews; one-great niece; and one great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, John T. Pyle Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2010 in the Meherrin Methodist Church, Meherrin, Virginia. The family will receive friends at the home 974 Meherrin Road, Meherrin, VA from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, October 8, 2010. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Virginia, 202 Clark Street, Farmville, VA 23901. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, Virginia is in charge of the arrangements.
