Mildred Wilmoth Martin

Mildred Virginia Wilmoth Martin, age 84, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 26, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd A. Martin, also preceded in death by her children, Gail Maxine Martin, Dennis Michael Martin, and Donald Wilmoth Martin.
She is survived by her son, Bradley Steven Martin and his wife Ida; four grandchildren, Rick Wood, John Wood, Holly Kellum, and Virginia Palmieri; three great-grandchildren; numerous beloved nieces and nephews whom she loved each and every one. She leaves behind many devoted friends, especially Virginia Gunter.
Millie was a graduate of Southside School of Practical Nursing. She was a loving, caring, and gracious wife, mother, and a friend whose bright smile and laughter and good southern cooking will be missed. She was the Quintessential Southern Belle—always a Lady.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, December 29, 2013, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
