Nellie Hudson Featherston, age 89, of Amelia, Virginia formerly of Drakes Branch passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry H. Featherston; and a son, Kenneth D. Featherston. Nellie is survived by a son, Douglas M. Featherston; two daughters, Jenny Lewis and Ruth Harrup; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley H. Tate.
A graveside service will be held a 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2010 in the Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2010.
The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
