Patty Langford Robertson Gormus

Patty Langford Robertson Gormus, 81, passed away on November 17, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Charlotte County, Virginia. Patty was the daughter of the late Gordon and Gladys Langford of Cullen, Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Langford; nephew, Ricky Langford; and former husbands, Tommy Robertson and Freddie Gormus.

Patty is survived by her daughter, Melissa Robertson LaPradd (Michael); grandchildren, Jacob Andrews and Holly Andrews; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Linda Langford; and two nieces, Sandra Scruggs and Jennifer Jordan.

Patty was a long-time member of Mt. Tirzah Baptist Church and an active member of the TPAC (Trucker’s Parade Against Cancer) Team. She worked as a medical receptionist for many years and loved helping care for people. Her favorite thing was cooking and feeding a big crowd!

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Mt. Tirzah Baptist Church, 174 Thomas Jefferson Highway, Charlotte Court House, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to a charity of your choice. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
