Richard D. Allen age 62, of Keysville, VA, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020. Richard was born on January 3, 1958. He was preceded in death by his father, Almer Allen; two brothers, Elton Allen and Kenneth Allen. He was also preceded in death by the love of his life Doris D. Hudson.
Richard is survived by his mother, Anna Allen; two sisters, Joyce Bennett (David), and Teresa Phelps (Robert); two children, Teresa Shook, and Sam Hudson (Aimee); two grandchildren, Chris Johnson and Sarah Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at Bethel Christian Church Cemetery, Green Bay, VA. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made The American Heart Association or The Charlotte County Rescue Squad. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
