Rosa "Roro" Tucker Langford, age 91, of Randolph, VA went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 9, 2025. She was born on September 8, 1933, the daughter of the late, Frank and Florence Jackson Tucker. Rosa was preceded in death by her husband, Albert K. Langford; two brothers, George Tucker and Bobby Tucker; and a niece, W. Gayle Garnett.
Rosa is survived by a sister, Nellie Tucker Garnett; a nephew, Brent "Rocky” Garnett (Judy); three great-nieces, Lindsay LaClair Hensley (Beach) and their children, Beachler and Levi; Kristin Foster (Craig) and their children, Brooklyn, Kylie and Jase; Kimberly Jeleniowski (Tim) and their children, Evelyn "Evy", Izabel "Izy", Jessi; and numerous other family members.
Rosa and Albert owned Langford’s Grocery Store in Drakes Branch for many years; then Rosa owned Old 26 Grocery in Randolph until her retirement. She was a devoted and dedicated member of New Hope Methodist Church, she served in many capacities, including Treasurer for over sixty years. Rosa helped host "The Ladies Club" dance on Thursdays in Drakes Branch to benefit the Drakes Branch Volunteer Fire Department. In her spare time, she enjoyed going fishing.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 13, 2025, in New Hope Methodist Church, Randolph, VA, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to New Hope Methodist Church, 6101 Scuffletown Road, Randolph, VA 23962. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
