Roy Thomas Francis

Roy Thomas Francis, age 80, of Charlotte Court House, VA, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2011.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Francis; five children, Dianne Shepherd Lloyd of Keysville, VA, Bruce Francis Debbie of Abilene, VA, Patricia Felker Daniel of Abilene, VA, Doris Myers Alan of Abilene, VA, Randy Francis Julie Newman of Abilene, VA; twelve grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tom Francis of Drakes Branch, VA, and Wiley Francis of Keysville, VA.
Roy was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Lona H. Francis; a daughter, Carol Joanne Francis; and a brother, Kenith Francis.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 7, 2011, in Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Keysville, VA, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, on Saturday, August 6, 2011, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
