Ruby Wallen Martin

Ruby Wallen Martin, age 85, of Saxe, VA passed away February, 12, 2013. She was the widow of Lewis E. Martin, Jr. Ruby is survived by a son, Lewis E. “Bud” Martin, III Mary of Saxe, VA; three daughters, Inez Morris Tommy of Scottsburg, VA, Shirley Russell Roy of Saxe, VA, Barbara Biggers Robert Carter of Petersburg, VA; four sisters, Rosetta McKinney of Clarksville, VA, Elnora Duffey, of South Boston, VA, Odell Langford of Chesterfield, VA, Ann Kennedy of Richmond, VA; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2013 at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home, with interment to follow in the Hebron United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013.
