Samuel Irvin Styers

Samuel Irvin Styers, age 47, of Drakes Branch, VA, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2012.
He is survived by his mother, Lillian Styers; two sisters, Paula Bundy and her husband, Jamie, Becky Overstreet; one brother, David Styers and his wife, Georgia; devoted nieces and nephews, Jake and Jenny Overstreet, Ariel and B J Bundy, Daniel Styers; a sister-in-law, Audrey Styers; and many longtime friends. Samuel was preceded in death by his father, Paul Styers, his brother, Larry Styers; and a nephew, Michael Styers.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 1, 2012, in Friendship Baptist Church, Drakes Branch, VA, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Charlotte County Rescue Squad. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
