Susan Maxine Adams Burton, age 38, of Scottsburg, VA, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Allen D. Burton, Sr.; two daughters, Alexis Burton and Jessica Burton; her mother, Maxine Yates; her father, Hugh Adams; one brother, Thomas Yates Laurie; three aunts, Rhonda Hartley Al, Wanda Kaye Yates, and Angie Bentley Bobby; one niece, Emma; and numerous other family members.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 19, 2017, in the Scott Family Cemetery, Saxe, VA. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, on Thursday, May 18, 2017, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is serving the family.
