Sylvester Godsey Garnette

Sylvester Godsey Garnette, age 78, of Madison Heights, VA, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016.
He is survived by a son, Randy Garnette; two daughters, Kelly Barker and husband, Billy, and Shelia Griffin; one sister, Cynthia Garnette; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 7, 2016, in New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery, Randolph, VA. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, on Saturday, February 6, 2016, from 6 to 7 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home, Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
