Tucker Watkins Tharpe

Tucker Watkins Tharpe, age 76, of Rustburg, VA, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015. He was born on November 8, 1938, in Charlotte County, VA. Tucker was the son of the late Nelson Tucker Tharpe and Mary Bigger Tharpe. He is survived by his wife, Lois Dawson Tharpe; two sons, Nelson and his wife, Ashley Tharpe, and Norman Tharpe; one daughter, Tammy and her husband, Les Henderson; one sister, Lois Buchanan; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 13, 2015, in New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery in Randolph, VA. The Browning Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
