Vernie Mae Seamster, age 83 of Drakes Branch, VA passed away, Sunday, June 1, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Newton Seamster; two sons, Graham Seamster and Warren Seamster; three daughters, Diane Hazelwood Sterling, Sandra Lloyd William, Shirley Hudson Jamie; eight grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren. Vernie was preceded in death by a grandson, Gerald Robinette.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home, Keysville, VA, with interment to follow in the Clover Cemetery, Clover, VA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2014.
