William Agir Foster, age 82, of Phenix, Virginia passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012. He is survived by his wife, of 45 years Dorothy H. Foster, four children, Sharon Metcalf and her husband, Ronnie, Robert A. Foster, Sr., Dorothy F. Parker and her husband, Stuart, Charles W. Foster and his wife, Sherry; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his parents, Charles H. and Mattie Whirley Foster; a brother, Reginald Foster; and a sister, Margaret Collins.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2012 in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Phenix, VA. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2012.
The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of the arrangements.
