William George Childs, age 76, of Charlotte Court House, VA passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Edith G. Childs; four daughters, Julia Raab, Lou Pearn, Julie Johnson, and Kathleen Whitlow; two sons, William Childs, Jr. and Russell Childs; thirteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. William is preceded in death by a son, Patrick Childs.

The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2017. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of the arrangements.
