William Jacob Tilton, age 92, of Keysville, VA, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Edna M. Tilton; three daughters, Mary Veals, Stella Hinkle, Elaine Rodriguez; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Mr. Tilton served his country honorably in WW II, having participated in the landings at Normandy, and the liberation of France.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, the family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
