William “Buddy” James Fifield Sr

William “Buddy” James Fifield, Sr., age 84, of Charlotte Court House, VA, passed away on February 20, 2015. He was born in Lowell MA, on June 5, 1930, to the late Raymond and Alice Fifield. He served in the U S Navy for four years and was on the U S S Columbus. William is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Mary Delaney Fifield; one son, William James Fifield, Jr., of Norwich, N Y; two daughters, Debbie Fifield of Charlotte C. H. VA, and Heather Fifield-Henry and husband, David Henry of Northwood, NH; and seven grandchildrenl He was preceded in death by his sister Virginia Seymour.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, February 25, 2015, in Mt. Nebo Baptist Church Keysville, VA, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home Keysville, VA, on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, from 7 to 8 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
