Willie Eugene Hudson

Willie Eugene Hudson, age 95, of Saxe, VA, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2011. Mr. Hudson was born on October 31, 1915, in Fort Mitchell, VA.

He is survived by three daughters, Jean H. Drinkard, Ann H. Goddin, Nancy H. Garrett Sandy; ten grandchildren, Donna D. Green Billy, Beth D. Hall, Sherrill D. Pugh Eddie, R. L. Buster Drinkard, Bill Drinkard Regina, Leigh Ann Yurasits Jim, Harry Lee Chip Goddin, Sandy Bo Garrett Denise, Robbie Garrett Julie, Michael Garrett; twenty-two great-grandchildren,; three great-great-grandchildren; two sister, Annis H. Hatcher, Anne Hudson; two brothers, Macy Hudson, Jr., and Allen Hudson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William M. and Alma Hudson; his step-mother, Margaret Hudson; and one brother, Woodrow Hudson.

A Graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 20, 2011, in the Saxe Cemetery, Saxe, VA. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
