Willie Leroy Pennell

Willie Leroy Pennell, age 88, of Charlotte Court House, VA, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ellen Pennell; his wife, Sally Pennell; a son, Jock Lee Pennell; two brothers, Monroe and David; three sisters,  Beulah, Margie and Rosie; two brothers-in-law, Henry and Charlie; and sisters-in-law, Victoria and Tommie          .

Willie is survived by two sons, Roger Pennell (Betty), WD Pennell (Rebecca); one daughter, Gail Cisco; ten granddaughters, Pam, Shanna, Ginger (Jamie), Valerie, Ashley (Chris), Daphene (good friend, Jason) Brittany (Jonathan), Alicia, Amber, and Blair; one grandson, Cody; seven great-grandsons, Danny, Ryan, Colby, Zachary, Phillip, Easton, and Caison; three great-granddaughters, Karlie, Baylee, and Adalynn; one brother, Mac Pennell; one sister, Polly Tuck; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Phenix, VA. Due to COVID-19 restrictions mask and social distancing is required. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville VA is serving the family.
