Willie Preston Jones

Willie Preston Jones, Sr., age 84, of Charlotte Court House, VA, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013. He was the son of the late Joseph H. and Annie Lipscomb Jones of Phenix, VA. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Doris Baker Jones; four children, Willie P. Jones, Jr., and wife Maureen of Dinwiddie, Chester G. Jones and wife Brenda of Darlington Heights, Marilyn J. Watson and husband Roy of Cumberland, Joan J. Covington and husband Gary of North Carolina; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister Evelyn O’Quinn of Ohio. Willie was retired from the Carpenters Union in Richmond, VA. He was dearly loved by his family and friends.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2013, at Beulah United Methodist Church Cemetery in Abilene, VA. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements
