Wilson Keeling Hunter, Jr.

Wilson Keeling Hunter Jr., “W.K.”, age 56, of Drakes Branch, VA, passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, January 5, 2015. He was born July 18, 1958 and is the son of Wilson Keeling Hunter, Sr. “Sleepy” and Peggy Tharpe Hunter of Drakes Branch, VA. W.K. is survived by two brothers, David K. Hunter of Drakes Branch, Eric Hunter of Virginia Beach; two uncles, Thomas C. Hunter Marsha of Williamsburg, VA, Fred Furr of Stanton, Tennessee; two aunts, Samantha T. Goode of Richmond, VA., Vicki T Lawless Lee of Ridgeway, VA; and a host of cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 8, 2015, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, with interment to follow in the Drakes Branch Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Drakes Branch. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
