Yvonne Marie Tims

Yvonne Marie Tims, age 90, of Drakes Branch, VA passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2026. She was born on December 1, 1935 to the late George and Cora Davenport. Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Tims, Jr.; and one deceased daughter.

Yvonne is survived by seven children; seventeen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Yvonne graduated from Sussex High School. An avid gardener, she loved her flowers and plants, and she was deeply devoted to researching her family genealogy dating back to the 1600s. Mom loved going to estate sales to look for treasures with her dear friends, and she cherished quilting with her quilting group. Religion was incredibly important to Mom. She also loved her pets, watching the wildlife from her patio. Yvonne was a big music lover, especially religion and country western, she also loved to do karaoke.

A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on October 9, 2026 in North Hardyston Cemetery in Franklin, New Jersey. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
