Ann Hudson Goddin

Ann Hudson Goddin, age 69, of Saxe, VA, formerly of Orange, VA, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Ann was born on July 2, 1942, in Halifax, VA, to the late Willie E. and Mary C. Hudson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Goddin, III. Ann was a Children’s Librarian and a caregiver.
She is survived by a daughter, Leigh Ann H. Yurasits and her husband, Jim; a son, Harry Lee “Chip” Goddin, IV, and his friend, Holly Sylvia; four grandchildren, Jamie Leigh Yurasits, Julia Ann Yurasits, Hannah Elizabeth Goddin, Harry Lee “Levi” Goddin, V; two sisters, Jean H. Drinkard, and Nancy H. Garrett and her husband, Sandy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2012, in the Saxe Cemetery, Saxe, VA. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, from 9 to 10 a.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
