Arlene Jeanette White Newcomb

Arlene Jeanette White Newcomb, 85, of Keysville passed away Friday, November 21, 2014, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Brookneal, surrounded by family. Arlene was born August 27, 1929, daughter of the late Caswell Columbus White and the late Cozie Livingston White. She is survived by two grandsons, Keith White and wife, Kimberly of Meherrin, Lawrence White and wife, Darlene of Brookneal, granddaughter, Tanya Waller of South Boston; fifteen great- grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; and a very special caregiver, Miss Judy. She was preceded in death by her only child, Larry Hall White of Saxe.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2014, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, with interment to follow in the Eureka Baptist Church Cemetery, Keysville, with Rev. Clyde Senger officiating. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home on Sunday, November 23, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m., and at the home of Lawrence and Darlene White at other times. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
