Bernice Hamlett Sprinkle

Bernice Hamlett Sprinkle, age 91, of Pamplin, VA, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis B. Sprinkle; and four sons, John Sprinkle, Phillip Sprinkle, Terry Sprinkle, and Stephen Sprinkle. Bernice is survived by three daughters, Ann Carr Lee, Patty Miller Jeff, and Katie Hamlett Kenneth; one son, Richard Sprinkle; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elsie Harris and Shirley McCluster; two brothers, Watkins Hamlett and Carter Hamlett; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to give a special thanks to her caregivers, Dorothy Davis and Sherr Walker; and her nurse of eight years Charlene Mitchell.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2016, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, with interment to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Charlotte C. H., VA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service on Friday. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of the arrangements.
