Christine Wade Jones, age 75, of Keysville, Virginia passed away on Monday, March 7, 2011. She was the daughter of Will and Beatrice Clay of Halifax County, Virginia. Christine is survived by two children, Jerry Wade Eloise, and Alyson Jones-Burke Derek. She is also survived by seven sisters, Verna, Norma, Prindle, Jean, Ramona, Ethel Bea, Elaine; one brother, Marvin; four grandsons, Patrick, Bradley, Aiden, Colin; and one granddaughter, Jessica. Christine also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jackie Wade Johnson; one grandson, Andy Johnson; two brothers, Douglas and Glen; and one sister, Lucille.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011 in the Ash Camp Memorial Cemetery, Keysville, Virginia. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 pm. Wednesday, March 9, 2011. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Charlotte County Rescue Squad. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, Virginia is in charge of the arrangements.
