Joseph “Bert” Hubert Bentley Jr.

Joseph “Bert” Bentley, Jr., age 59, of Keysville, VA, passed away at VCU Medical Center on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 after only a short battle with cancer.
He is survived by two sons, Joseph “Keith” Bentley of Amelia Court House and Brian Bentley of Fairfax; two sisters, Dale Amos of Keysville and Rita Overby of Keysville; and one grandson, Joseph “Allen” Bentley of Amelia Court House. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Evelyn Bentley, and infant brother, Brad Bentley. He had many accomplishments in his life that gave back to the community to include being a volunteer firefighter. He was a very talented individual that skills included automobile repair and carpentry, as he could build or fix anything.
Funeral services will be held graveside at Ash Camp Memorial Cemetery at 2:30pm, Saturday, December 13, 2014. The family will receive friends at Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA from 12 to 2pm, Saturday, December 13, 2014. Browning-Duffer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
