Shirley Rutledge Wilkerson, age 73, of Chase City, VA passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2010.
She is survived by one daughter, Kimberly H. Cassada and husband, David of Keysville; two sons, Timothy L. Harper of Sandston, and Brent Rutledge Burch of Meherrin; eight grandchildren, Michael L. Harper of Sandston, Marty McCadams of Keysville, Phillip Harper of Sandston, Chrystal Owens of Clarksville, Aaron Cassada of Keysville, Roman Burch of Keysville, Leslie Cassada of Keysville, Tia Cassada of Keysville; four great-grandchildren; and a long time friend Frankie Wilkerson of Buffalo Junction.
A Funeral service will be held at 3 p. m., Sunday, September 19, 2010, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, with interment to follow in the Cool Springs Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 18, 2010, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
